WHAT OUR GUESTS SAY

"My 1st retreat here left a wonderful feeling of my spirits. It changed some of my previous beliefs on how to do yoga. The calm, deliberate delivery of the program, meals, tour of the retreat brought a peaceful, easy feeling to me."
(Marc V. 17 May 26)

“I had a great time at the retreat. Especially as a new mom it’s hard to ever find time for yourself and to get out of your head. Not having to worry about anything - especially food, which was amazing - was such a nice treat. I enjoyed to learn more about meditations and yoga and hope to come back again.” (Lynn A. 17 May 2026)

“I found the Path of Bliss Retreat to be a lovely getaway from the comotion of the city. Everything felt calm and peaceful here, a walk in nature, the sound of birds, the tasty food made with so much caring, alongside repeated mantra meditations and gentle yoga. And Dada is wonderful, takes time to sit with our questions and answer with compassion. It brought me much serenity.”
(Samantha C. 17 May 2026)

“This retreat surpassed my expectations. Being with like-minded people in a peaceful setting and learning something new was very fulfilling. And the food is nutritious and delicious!”
(Jane V. 17 May 2026)

OUR FOOD

Our food is lacto-vegetarian (Sattvic food*) with vegan options.

We believe that food is an important part of any retreat, and we want to make sure that everyone has something to enjoy. Our chefs create delicious and nutritious meals that are lacto-vegetarian. We also avoid using onion, garlic, and mushrooms, as these ingredients are not conducive to meditation and yoga practices. We offer vegan options. We do not serve alcohol or allow drugs on our premises. Alcohol and drugs can interfere with the meditation and yoga process, so we do not serve them on our premises. We hope that you will enjoy our delicious and healthy food during your stay at our retreat.

*Sattvic food: food that is good for the body and mind. All the staple food-grains such as rice, wheat, barley, etc.; all the beans, pulses,  all fruits and roots; all kinds of vegetables, milk and milk products; all green and leafy vegetables

Exceptions: except masúr [an orange-coloured lentil] and khesári dal; except violet-colored carrots, white eggplants, onions, garlic and mushrooms;  except leafy red puni and leafy green mustard.

All varieties of spices except garam masalá and all kinds of sweets, can be taken.

Here are some additional tips for preparing for a weekend retreat:

  • Read our website or contact us to get more information about the schedule, activities, and policies.
  • If you have any dietary restrictions or special needs, be sure to let us know in advance.
  • Pack your bags. Make sure to pack comfortable clothes, shoes, and toiletries. You may also want to pack a journal, a book, and a meditation cushion.
  • Bring a positive attitude and an open mind. Retreats can be a great opportunity to learn and grow, so be prepared to step outside of your comfort zone and experience new things.
  • Leave your phone and other distractions behind. The goal of a retreat is to focus on yourself and your well-being, so it's best to avoid distractions.
  • Our retreats are generally intense experiences with many activities. Feel free to skip some of the activities if you need rest.
  • Enjoy the experience! Weekend retreats can be a great way to relax, rejuvenate, and connect with yourself and others. Make the most of it by taking some time for yourself, exploring new ideas, and making new friends.
