"My 1st retreat here left a wonderful feeling of my spirits. It changed some of my previous beliefs on how to do yoga. The calm, deliberate delivery of the program, meals, tour of the retreat brought a peaceful, easy feeling to me." |
“I found the Path of Bliss Retreat to be a lovely getaway from the comotion of the city. Everything felt calm and peaceful here, a walk in nature, the sound of birds, the tasty food made with so much caring, alongside repeated mantra meditations and gentle yoga. And Dada is wonderful, takes time to sit with our questions and answer with compassion. It brought me much serenity.” “This retreat surpassed my expectations. Being with like-minded people in a peaceful setting and learning something new was very fulfilling. And the food is nutritious and delicious!” |

Our food is lacto-vegetarian (Sattvic food*) with vegan options.
We believe that food is an important part of any retreat, and we want to make sure that everyone has something to enjoy. Our chefs create delicious and nutritious meals that are lacto-vegetarian. We also avoid using onion, garlic, and mushrooms, as these ingredients are not conducive to meditation and yoga practices. We offer vegan options. We do not serve alcohol or allow drugs on our premises. Alcohol and drugs can interfere with the meditation and yoga process, so we do not serve them on our premises. We hope that you will enjoy our delicious and healthy food during your stay at our retreat.
*Sattvic food: food that is good for the body and mind. All the staple food-grains such as rice, wheat, barley, etc.; all the beans, pulses, all fruits and roots; all kinds of vegetables, milk and milk products; all green and leafy vegetables
Exceptions: except masúr [an orange-coloured lentil] and khesári dal; except violet-colored carrots, white eggplants, onions, garlic and mushrooms; except leafy red puni and leafy green mustard.
All varieties of spices except garam masalá and all kinds of sweets, can be taken.
